DHAKA, Oct 08, 2016 (BN)- State Minister for Finance and Planning M A Mannan today said that the present government ensured providing all services, including digital ones, to the doorsteps of the common people.
As part of digitization process of the government, he said, the people were now getting all information using internet services from their homes.
The state minister said this while inaugurating the 500-seat “Jhilmil Auditorium’ at the South Sunamganj Upazila headquarters. The auditorium was constructed at a cost of Taka 4 crores.
The state minister said that the government had taken up massive development works to turn the country into a developed one and added “We have a policy that there would be no neglected area in the country.”
He said the government is constructing new schools, hospitals, madrashas, auditoriums, roads and bridges across the country to reduce pressure on the capital Dhaka.
Local elite and Awami League leaders addressed the function with South Sunamganj upazila chairman Abul Kalam in the chair.
