Senior Correspondent : President Abdul Hamid is going to start dialogue with political parties including Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) over the reconstitution of the Election Commission (EC) from 18 December.
The President has given out appointment for talks with BNP on that day.
Md Joynal Abedin, Press Secretary to the President, confirmed the matter on Monday.
He said President Hamid will sit with Jatiya Party on December 20, Liberal Democratic Party and Krishak Shramik Janata League on December 21, and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal on December 22.
Earlier, on December 6, a BNP delegation went to Bangabhaban with Khaleda Zia`s proposal on Election Commission (EC) reformation.
