Vacancy Announcement Good Neighbors (1991) is an international  humanitarian development and non-governmental organisation with mernbership  in General Consultative Status in the United Nation’s  Economic and Scial Council (UN ECOSOC) Winner of MDG 2 award in  2007. Good Neighbors Bangladesh(GNB) is operating 17 Community Development Project (CDP) and 4 Projects with Specific Program (PSP) in 13 Districts for child protection. Education, health women cmpowrement, income generating activities, DRR and Rohingya emergency response activities, Good Neighbors Bangladesh(GNB) intends to recruit suitable personnel for the following positions:

Position (01)  Program Officer

 Position (02)  Field Facilitator

Job Location: Sadar Upzila, Kurigrame.

Basic Requirement:

• Education: Degree/Master’s degree in business administration/agriculture/economics or social science from any reputed university
• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience (experience with only evidence and relevance will count) in IGA, enterprise, markets based or value chain development project.
• Age: Maximum 35 years
• Required Skill: Sound knowledge in Micro-Soft office package, report writing and English language (speaking & writing)
• Required Attitude: Ability to work in a team, respectful to co-workers and mentality to work in the rural area. And have positive attitude towards social service and adaptability to organizational vision and values.
• Preference: Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Contract Information: • Salary and Others: Consolidated remuneration for Program Officer: BDT.34,980/- and for Field Facilitator: BDT.22,000/- (Salary, travel allowance & mobile bill)

• Contract Period: I1 Month (February 2024 to December 2024) months with possibility of extension based on performance and availability of fund.

Major Roles and Responsibility:

Position (l): Program Officer

• Plan, develop, design, implement, and monitor the Project activities.
• Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly implementation plan for the assigned area in accordance with detailed activity plan of the project.
• Provide support to smallholder farmers, traders association and small enterprises on business plan and management and conduct market assessment and analyses the information to design project activities.
• Design and develop training program and appropriate training materials on entrepreneurship development, income generating activities based on needs of the women participants of the project.
• Organize and facilitate different workshops/meetings, orientation, and discussion sessions for project staff and stakeholders.
• Organize youths to engage them in providing technical support and monitoring the project activities.
• Establish collaboration and working relationship with the union and upazilla level officials.
• Prepare and cooperate to prepare monthly, quarterly and necessary reports as required.

Position (2): Field Facilitator

• Regular visit of beneficiary’s houses as per provided list and regular update their bkash account. • Support for conducting training/workshop/ meeting for beneficiaries, community volunteer and DMCs.
• Monitor and follow up IGAs initiated by the beneficiaries through regular field visits.
• Keep linkage and coordination with service providers (government and non-government) and beneficiary group leaders.
• Ensure quality report through authentic data collection and valid documents for project.
